With over 60 years of experience in the field of Film & TV Production, Africapix is not only one of the oldest but also one of the most qualified production houses in Africa. Through its founder, legendary photo journalist and cameraman Sir Mohinder Dhillon,  Africapix has covered major historical events taking place around the continent from disaster, to famine to success. Africapix continues to cover it all under one roof.

In 2016 Sir Mohinder published his biography My Camera, My Life.

In 2020 just a few days after approving his second book “Witness To History” sadly Sir Mohinder passed away. Witness to History got published in 2022 by Africapix and contains images and write-ups of his experiences covering stories from around the world.

Stepping into his father’s big boots, Sam Dhillon, now heads Africapix with a very personalized and hands-on approach. Starting of as an assistant to his father in the late 1980s Sam now has over 30 years of experience as a Director, DOP and Producer.
